Uniting the church in Luton to pray for the town of Luton

About Transforming Luton Prayer

Transforming Luton Prayer is the section of Transforming Luton that seeks to bring the churches in Luton together to pray for our town. We believe that we are transforming our town, and extending the Kingdom of God through our unified prayer.

What are our aims?

We seek to unite the church in Luton to pray for the town of Luton. We believe God answers our prayers and that we experience a peace and prosperity in Luton that we would not have known without our unified prayer. We see doors open for the gospel that I believe would not have opened without the churches of the town praying together…

How do we fit in to the bigger picture?

Transforming Luton Prayer is the prayer section of Transforming Luton, which is a group of some 40, largely evangelical churches who come together for mission, celebration and prayer.

Who are we?

We are a team of people who are committed to unity and intercession. This team represents as wide a number of different churches and denominations as we are able.

How can you get involved?

Firstly and most importantly come along and pray.

What do we do?

We organise the quarterly “Transforming Prayer” events for Transforming Luton. In these we focus on a particular aspect of our community, for instance the police and crime reduction, or schools, or the NHS and the L&D. We invite people who have particular involvement in these areas to share so that our prayers are informed.
