Please pray for two new ministries emerging at Christchurch Bushmead
Ministry to Travellers
Following his ministry in his previous church, Rev Martin Burrell, the new vicar at
Bushmead, has begun a work with "travellers" in Luton. This is a very demanding
but exciting opportunity. Many local gypsies have shown great openness to the
gospel. Please pray for
1. wisdom for the church as to how to proceed with this calling
2. that people from other churches will be called by God to help support this work.
Ministry to ex-offenders
For a while now, a significant and growing number of ex-offenders have been
attending at Bushmead. Please pray
1. that many ex-offenders' lives will be transformed by God's Holy Spirit
2. that the Lord will draw in more people to this ministry from across Luton's
churches, to support and care for the ex-offenders.
