Pray for Chris Barnes and Churches Together in Luton (CTL)
CTL is the umbrella organisation which is open to all churches in Luton. It is an important structure for church unity and communication in our town.
Chris Barnes has recently taken on the chair of CTL. Pray for him and for the team looking at enabling fresh development for CTL.
The vision for CTL is:
- To improve communications between churches
- To be increase the recognition of the Christian voice within Luton
- To raise the profile of the Christian contribution to the life of Luton (which is not always acknowledged by secular authorities)
- To encourage more common Christian activity through clusters of churches working together.
Chris was CE of Beds & Luton economic partnership so he has lots of contacts in the town with key people in public and private sectors, so he is ideally placed to increase understanding between church and town.
Pray for him as he spends time with Christian leaders of all denominations, members of other faiths and secular leaders in the town.
